The other day, the other 2nd grade bilingual teacher came in and she had white out all over her hand.
"What happened?"
"Oh, they're driving me crazy. Literally. I looked down and caught myself painting on myself."
She went on with much silliness and humor.
Now you know why we get three months of summer! It's to repair our sanity! :)

Haha... you crazy girl! You're not supposed to admit that you actually put your hair in a hole punch! Someone might think you need mental help. At least you know your not the only one going crazy in the head. 9 MORE DAYS!!! YOU CAN DO IT!! Love you!
:) Today, it happened again. Proof that it is the end of the year and we proof that we need a break. (I'm laughing as I'm thinking about it, we'll see if I can convey it so that you'll laugh too.)
I eat lunch in the teacher's lounge. It's nice and quiet and there are only adults there. There are usually a few first grade teachers finishing their lunch when the second grade teachers arrive.
So we are sitting around chatting, etc etc etc. The first grade teachers have to leave. One went out on door. And the other was finishing her story. So she finished and then went to the hall door (the other door). These doors are never locked and even if they were, we only get keys to our classrooms and the hall doors leading to our classrooms.
Well, I'm chatting with another teacher. And I look over because she is still at the door. What is she doing, I'm wondering.
Finally, she takes her key out of the door and says - duh - and opens the door and walks out!
I'm still laughing out loud. I hope you are too! And I hope you think back to your first and second grade teachers and thank God for them!!!! :)
